Overview
The Live Game Broadcaster / Play-by-Play Intern delivers energetic, real-time storytelling that brings local sports and
community events to life. This position supports the Level Up for Local mission by connecting viewers, families, and
local supporters through engaging, inclusive coverage. Interns will work with professional broadcast systems and
remote-access cloud platforms used by CMP-TV and partner media outlets, gaining first-hand experience in live
production, on-air delivery, and digital distribution.
Key Responsibilities
• Shadow professional broadcasters and assist in live game coverage and commentary.
• Prepare research notes, player profiles, and storylines that add depth to broadcasts.
• Operate cloud-based or remote-access broadcasting tools during events.
• Collaborate with camera operators, editors, and producers to deliver seamless live content.
• Represent the professionalism and community values of the Level Up for Local mission.
Skills & Learning Outcomes
• Real-world experience in sports and community broadcasting.
