Overview

The Fundraising & Charity Event Manager Intern helps plan, organize, and promote events that raise awareness and financial support for
local causes. This position supports the
Level Up for Local mission by turning community gatherings into opportunities for generosity,
celebration, and collaboration. Interns gain hands-on experience in event management, fundraising coordination, and sponsor engagement,
developing leadership skills that directly contribute to local impact and economic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of charity galas, auctions, raffles, and community fundraisers.
• Coordinate logistics with venues, sponsors, vendors, and volunteers.
• Help promote events across social media, newsletters, and community networks.
• Track donations, sponsorship participation, and campaign outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with local partners and participants to encourage ongoing involvement.

Skills & Learning Outcomes

• Real-world experience in nonprofit fundraising and event management.
• Understanding of donor relations, campaign tracking, and budget planning.
