Overview
The iCAN HERO Studio Operator / Trainer Intern helps local youth and community members develop creative, technical, and storytelling skills
through hands-on experience in video production, editing, and digital media. This position supports the Level Up for Local mission
by connecting technology and creativity — empowering participants to create meaningful content that supports fundraising, education,
and local business promotion.
Interns will assist in operating community-based production studios, guiding participants through on-camera performance, lighting, and editing tools,
while helping produce professional-quality media that amplifies local impact stories and sponsor engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate studio cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing workstations.
• Assist with recording, directing, and editing video segments for community partners.
• Support training workshops for youth participants in green-screen, podcasting, and digital storytelling.
• Coordinate with local sponsors to produce media that highlights community give-back efforts.
• Maintain equipment, organize media assets, and ensure smooth studio operations.
