Overview

The Youth Development Coordinator Intern helps empower young people to participate in meaningful community programs,
mentorship opportunities, and creative learning experiences. This position supports the Level Up for Local mission
by providing structure and support for activities that teach teamwork, leadership, and community awareness through
sports, media, and local engagement initiatives.

Interns gain practical experience working alongside mentors, schools, and partner organizations to help youth “level up”
their confidence, creativity, and commitment to giving back within their own communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating youth-focused workshops, events, and leadership sessions.
• Collaborate with schools, community centers, and local sponsors to promote participation.
• Help mentor youth participants during hands-on learning and community projects.
• Support digital and social media initiatives that highlight youth accomplishments.
• Collect feedback and stories that showcase the impact of youth engagement.
