Overview

The Equipment Manager Youth Ambassador experience gives participants a behind-the-scenes look at how professional teams prepare for practices and events. Youth will shadow staff to see how equipment is maintained, organized, and prepared for athletes. This opportunity provides a hands-on understanding of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail — all key parts of making community sports and local programs successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Shadow professionals who manage and prepare gear, uniforms, and supplies.
• Observe how cleanliness, organization, and safety are maintained in equipment areas.
• Assist with simple setup tasks and learn how inventory systems work.
• See how preparation and reliability contribute to a successful team environment.
• Participate in community events that demonstrate how sports operations support local engagement.
