Overview
The Video Production & Editing Intern plays a key role in creating inspiring, story-driven content that highlights local events,
small-business partners, and community fundraising success stories. This position supports the Level Up for Local mission
by helping capture and share the impact of giving back — through sports, music, education, and community initiatives.
Interns will work hands-on with smartphone cameras, equipped with cloud based peer to peer remote access studio platforms,
cloud based editing software, and broadcast and promotional tools used by CMP-TV and community marketplace media teams,
gaining valuable production and storytelling experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Capture event footage, interviews, and sponsor features that promote local engagement.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, streaming, and signage systems.
• Collaborate with the media team to plan visual stories aligned with give-back campaigns.
• Assist with lighting, audio, and camera setup for live and recorded segments.
• Support post-production workflows including file management, transitions, and graphics integration.
