The Durham Region Senior (55+) Games (DRSG) in district 13, part of the Ontario Senior Games Association (OSGA 55+), serves adults aged 55 and over in municipalities like Clarington, Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax, and others. These games, which promote an active lifestyle through fun and friendly competition, include both Summer and Winter events held annually. Established in the early 1990s for Summer Games and 2010 for Winter Games, DRSG offers a variety of recreational activities suitable for all skill levels. Over 1,500 participants have engaged in these events since 2010. Winners at the district level may go on to represent Durham at the Ontario 55+ Games.
